A Chemical Engineer by qualification, Protima went on to get her MBA from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. She started her career in HR with Thermax in Pune, a company known for its open culture and employee friendly people practices. After gaining experience in design and implementation of various HR processes and initiatives, Protima moved to a role of Business Change Management Consultant with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). In TCS, she worked for various projects involving large scale changes with clients spread across the UK and mainland Europe. Over a career spanning close 12 years, she has worked in the Manufacturing, Utilities and Engineering sector implementing various people processes and managing large scale changes. Protima is a certified PRINCE 2 Practitioner and also holds a certification in Competency mapping. As a founder partner of PeopleWiz, Protima is responsible for overall direction, solution design and managing project delivery.

With a Master’s degree in Personnel Management, Shyne started his career in HR at Thermax Ltd. He grew rapidly over a period of 9 years with Thermax to become the Lead of HR function for Power Division. After a brief stint with Siemens HR as a HR Business Partner, he joined University of Oxford in the UK to consult in designing of HR Process for the University and affiliated colleges. He gained business analysis skills at the University and worked in various projects in the area of process design. In his career spanning 17 years, Shyne has specialized in HR Management, Talent Acquisition, Compensation Management & Process analysis. As a founder partner of PeopleWiz, Shyne is responsible for market creation & managing customer engagements.
|Garima Sharma, PhD
Dr. Garima is a postdoctoral research fellow at Ivey Business School, University of Western Ontario. Garima received her PhD in Organizational Behavior from Case Western Reserve University, and Bachelor’s in Engineering and Master’s in Business Administration from India, after which she worked as an internal organisational development consultant at Patni Computer Systems. Her research interests are in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), especially how businesses leverage the tension in profit and social goals for generating greater benefits for all. Dr. Garima is interested in learning styles, learning flexibility, and large system change using Appreciative Inquiry (AI). Dr. Garima is certified in using appreciative inquiry, experiential learning theory and is a certified intentional change agent coach. She has served as a reviewer for journals, edited books and conferences. She has published in the Journal of Change Management and Journal of Applied Behavorial Science. As a Research Director at PeopleWiz, Garima is responsible for building the knowledge repository. Her key application of people management concepts for emerging companies and lead internal capability development of PeopleWiz consultants.
Director – ASEAN Region
An honors graduate in engineering from IIT Kharagpur, with a post graduate diploma in Lean Six Sigma, having over 38 years of multifunctional experience in leading manufacturing companies in the Asia Pacific Region, covering Business Startups & Development, Strategic Marketing, Profit Center Operations, Consulting and Project Management, at senior levels. Following his passion, he trains and leads people to drive performance improvement projects. Analytical & intuitive, he has handled P & L responsibilities of various Businesses, led cross cultural business development teams across Asia Pacific, to wide engineering market segments, managed start ups, ensuring seamless synchronization of technology and people & executed turnaround and revivals. As the ASEAN Business Head for PeopleWiz Consulting, he is responsible for creating the business strategy for PeopleWiz’s footprint in the ASEAN region.
